Elisabet V. Sandnes is EVP and Chief Sustainability Officer at Faerch A/S, an integrated recycler and a leading player in circular packaging solutions for the food industry. The company is headquartered in Holstebro, Denmark. Previously, she was a consultant at Egon Zehnder in Oslo, focusing on companies with a clear role in the green transition and with sustainability as part of their business model. Prior to Egon Zehnder, she was Executive Vice President at TOMRA Systems ASA with responsibility for Group Strategy, M&A, Investor Relations and Sustainability. She started her career at the investment bank Alfred Berg/ABN AMRO (later Royal Bank of Scotland), focusing on M&A transactions within electricity and renewable energy. She holds a BSc in Finance from the Norwegian School of Economics (BI) and an MBA in Strategic Management from the Norwegian School of Economics (NHH).
