Bioplast i livsmedelsförpackningar – en del av en hållbar plastanvändning – Orkla är engagerade i att vara en del av omställningen till en hållbar plastanvändning och har som mål att senast 2025 ska alla förpackningar kunna materialåtervinnas och hälften av alla plastförpackningar vara gjorda av förnyelsebart eller återvunnet material. Här ges konkreta exempel på hur man infört biobaserad plast på några av sina förpackningar.

EU Policy Update: Regulatory Environment for Bioplastics in the Making (Part 1/2)“ – Bioplastics’ production capacities are continuously increasing and expected to more than triple within the next five years. This development is driven by a rising demand combined with the emergence of more sophisticated applications and products. To ensure a continued successful development and to be able to contribute to the achievement of the ambitious climate goals included in the European Green Deal, the bioplastics industry, like any other industry, requires a clear and reliable regulatory environment. Therefore, the European Commission initiated several policy processes that contribute to establish such an environment. The presentation will focus on the forthcoming policy framework on bio-based, biodegradable and compostable plastics.
